BACKGROUND
Web International English, one of China’s top English schools, wanted to enrol more students by instilling the importance of speaking English accurately.
IDEA
We encouraged people to improve their spoken English with the “Speak English Like a Native” campaign. This series of ads highlighted in simple and humorous way that knowing the right words is different from knowing how to say the words the right way.
EXECUTION
For emphasis, the mispronounced word is illustrated as an image, highlighting that a simple mispronunciation can mean something completely different. We chose vintage British illustration to make this an authentically English campaign, yet contemporary with vivid color combination. Every single detail is hand drawn.
